Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

By using PlantPal you agree to these simple terms.

What PlantPal is

PlantPal uses AI to give friendly, general guidance about home plants. It can be wrong. It is not a substitute for a professional, and you use its advice at your own judgement. Fun facts about folklore or traditional medicine are for interest only and are not medical advice.

Scans and payments

• New accounts get 1 free scan. Extra scans are sold in packs.
• Scans don't expire and can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.
• Photos that aren't a plant, or are too unclear to read, don't use a scan.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record.

Fair use

Please don't misuse the service, upload other people's private photos, or try to break it.
